Summary : A World War II gun emplacement located on the cliff edge south of Blacknor Fort. The gun emplacement was built in 1940-41 and was constructed of concrete and used by 15 pounder field guns for the protection of Whitehead's Torpedo Factory and the oil tanks on the Mere. A field visit in 1995 found the structure to be in a good condition.
