Summary : Possible Second World War Auxiliary Unit base, dug into sandy bank in woodland. In Bourne Wood, South-East of Farnham, near Waverley Abbey.
More information : Possible Auxiliary Unit base, dug into sandy bank in woodland. The roof has collapsed. Built with reinforced concrete posts and roof beams, with corrugated iron lining. Rectangular in shape, 12.5m x 3.5m, with tapered sides up to 1.8m deep. Aligned 56 degrees -236 degrees (long side). Roof collapsed and filled with rubbish. Auxiliary Unit underground base, which originally had a roof supported on concrete posts and the whole structure covered with earth.
