Summary : A World War II pillbox at East Weare Camp, Portland. This is one of six pillboxes which surrounds the East Weare Batteries. It is built of reinforced concrete, has an irregular six-sided plan and was constructed sometime between 1940-41. A field visit in 1995 found the structure to be in a good condition.
More information : One of 6 pillboxes surrounding the East Weare Batteries. An irregular six-sided pillbox. Entrance now sealed with breeze blocks. At East Weare Camp, Portland. (1)
