Summary : The site of a Second World War type 22 thin-walled concrete pillbox on the east side of North Weald Airfield.
More information : Pillbox type 22, thin walled. Ground level has been reduced by over 12in. Metal plates about 5/6in thick protect each side of the embrasures. Anti ricochet walls present.
