MONUMENT NO. 1409916

DESCRIPTION + /

A small rectilinear enclosure is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs, and has been mapped by EH's Knowlton Circles Project. The date of this feature is uncertain, although it is likely to be Prehistoric or Roman. Its form strongly resembles an Iron Age square barrow, and it is located between the Great Barrow and the South Henge in the Knowlton monument complex.
