A small rectilinear enclosure, possibly representing an Iron Age square barrow, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs, and has been mapped by EH's Knowlton Circles Project. The enclosure is defined by a single ditch 5.1m x 4.8m. It is associated with an extensive barrow cemetery known as the Knowlton Circles Barrow Group (SU 01 SW 105). Another similar enclosure or square barrow lies 93.2m to the west (SU 01 SW 211). (1)
