| More information : SU 0217 1050. A Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs and has been mapped by EH's Knowlton Circles Project. The barrow appears aas a plough levelled sub-circular mound 16.3m in diameter. It is located about 100m to the north of Knowlton North and Old Churchyard henges, and is part of the extensive barrow cemetery known as the Knowlton Circles Barrow Group. (1) |
