Summary : Findspot of Roman building stone.
More information : (NY 627664) The following five building stones have been found E of Turret 48b at the distances given:-
a. in 1961 at 105 yds(1); b. in 1962 at 45 yds(2); c. in 1962 at 243 yds(2); d. in 1962 at 248 yds(2) and e. in 1966 at 248 yds(3). Found and stored by Ministry of Public Building Works, except e. which is in Carlisle Museum. (1-3)

(Four stones now recorded under: NY 66 NW 61 (a); NY 66 NW 62 (b); and NY 66 NW 63 (c & d))
