More information : A World War Two pillbox at the former Hawkinge Airfield (Hawkinge, Kent), situated on the south-east side, near Terlingham Manor Farm, at TR 214 392. The Defence of Britain record states that it was built in 1940, and is an Air Ministry standard type, built from reinforced concrete. The pillbox was reported as extant in 1996. (1)
