More information : Ridge and furrow of Medieval or Post Medieval date in the parish of Henshaw was seen as earthworks and mapped from air photographs. Ridge and furrow was seen in two areas within the parish: remains of possible Medieval date immediately south of Greenlee Plantation, and remains of probable Post Medieval date on the west side of Greenlee Burn. The features at both areas, more centrally located at NY 7612 7001 and NY 7680 7031, have been separately recorded as NY 77 SE 13 and NY 77 SE 15 respectively. (1-2) |
