| Summary : Possible medieval or post medieval enclosures, possibly stock enclosures, lie adjacent to Hadrian's Wall. Four structures abutt the south side of a post medieval wall (see NY 66 NE 373, UID 1394076) constructed along the line of Hadrian's Wall and one enclosure lies to the north. Two of those to the south are irregular curvilinear enclosures, with entrances on the south side. The enclosures also lie in close proximity to the site of Wall Turret 43A (see NY 66 NE 1, UID 13822). |
More information : Possible medieval or post medieval enclosures, possibly stock enclosures, lie adjacent to Hadrian's Wall, centred at NY 6986 6684. Four structures abutt the south side of a post medieval wall, constructed along the line of Hadrian's Wall and one enclosure lies to the north. Two of those to the south are irregular curvilinear enclosures, with entrances on the south side. The enclosures lie in close proxmity to the site of the Wall Turret 43A (see NY 66 NE 1, UID 13822).
