More information : An English Heritage report produced in May 2003 suggested that the "Engine Test House Building 102" could be possibly included in a proposed conservation area at RAF Bicester. The report describes the building as having been built in 1926 "with three cells for testing aircraft engines and clearly relating to the projected 3-squadron for which Bicester was originally intended". The report notes further that "it has had some alteration, but merits protection within the frame work of the proposed conservation area." (1) |
