Summary : A Second World War cantilevered type pillbox situated at RAF Bicester, one of a number of pillboxes which formed the ground defences of the airfield. The pillbox was allegedly built between 1940-41.
More information : The Defence of Britain Database catalogue notes an extant pillbox at SP 5980 2390, situated at RAF Bicester. It was part of the airfield defences and was allegedly constructed in 1940-1941. The pillbox was recorded by Defence of Britain recorder Mike Osborne. (1)
