Source (1) states destination as St. Panlode Loando, a mistranscription of the Portuguese Sao Paulo do Loando; Loando being the Portuguese name for Luanda.
[Apparently one of a group of Norwegian vessels sailing from Newport to destinations in Portuguese colonies, three of which were wrecked in the same place at the same time, for which see also ST 48 SE 6 and ST 48 SE 7. Additionally SS 10 NE 106 appears to have been in company with these vessels, also bound with the same cargo to the same destination as the TORDENSKJOLD, with the same cargo.]
