Summary : General Baptist chapel built after 1747 and rebuilt in 1792. A simple rectangular building, built of brick laid in an irregular bond with a pantile roof. The east end has a central segmental-arched doorway with the date of construction on a small tablet above. The lower wing at the west end was probably originally intended as the minister's house but is now used as a vestry. The interior of the chapel was refitted in the late 19th century.
