Summary : The Edgeware (sic), Highgate and London Railway was incorporated in 1862 from Seven Sisters to Edgware via Finsbury Park and Highgate, and opened in 1867. The section west of Highgate became part of the Northern Line, the section between Finsbury Park and Highgate ceased to operate in 1954 and has been dismantled, the rest forming part of the Tottenham and Hampstead Junction Railway, remains in use.
