Summary : An emergency shelter for fire fighting vehicles or a camouflaged shelter for a mobile anti-aircraft gun associated with the defence of the Chain Home Station at Dunkirk. It is situated on the east side of Courtenay Road, in the garden of Firtree Cottages, 950 metres north east of the station compound, and comprises two parallel brick walls, embanked on the east, and a concrete recessed roof. It was originally open at each end.
