Summary : The York and North Midland Railway obtained powers in 1852 to create a semicircular line from Anlaby Street Junction on the Hull and Selby Line to the new Victoria Dock on the South-East side of Hull. The line opened in 1853. The line closed in 1969 and was lifted.
