Summary : House, early 19th century, constructed from brick, pebbledashed and colourwashed with a pantile roof. It is of two storeys in a single bay with a single storey single bay extension to the right under a lean-to roof. To the left is a projecting gabled porch containing a 20th century glazed door. The house was one of a series of buildings which were Gothicised or built in the Gothick style by the Sykes family of West Ella Hall in the early-mid 19th century. |
