House, mid 19th century, in a Gothick style, constructed from red and yellow brick with a pantiled roof. It presents a gable elevation to the street and is of two storeys, one bay deep. The house was one of a series of buildings which were Gothicised or built in the Gothick style by the Sykes family of West Ella Hall in the early-mid 19th century.
