Summary : A Gothick style house, 1864 on datestone, constructed from brick, pebbledashed and colourwashed, with a slate roof. The left bays is of a single storey whilst the right bay is of two storeys. The house was one of a series of small houses Gothicised or built in the Gothick style by the Sykes family of West Ella Hall in the early-mid 19th century.
