SHRIGLEY AND HUNT GLASSWORKS

A glass melting and annealing workshop with furnaces which formed part of Shrigley and Hunt's stained glass manufacturing workshops. Situated within a cellar to the rear of 23 Castle Hill, a building which had formerly been the main part of the stained glass workshops. Glassmaking took place on these premises from about 1890 until the mid-20th century. Scheduled
