Summary : The 27ft wide seventh tower, known as Pinnacle Tower, is still extant. It is surmounted by a conical rood. The upper storey has been given square windows and a doorway has been inserted at ground level in the exterior face. At the base of the tower the walls are 3ft 10ins thick, the internal length is 11ft and the internal width is 15ft 3ins.

The, 27ft wide, seventh tower, known as Pinnacle Tower is still extant. It is surmounted by a conical rood with vane bearing the date 1680. The upper storey has been given square windows and a doorway has been inserted at ground level in the exterior face. At the base of the tower the walls are 3ft 10ins thick, the internal length is 11ft and the internal width is 15ft 3ins. (For a general history of the Medieval Town Wall, see TG 50 NW 2). (2-5)
