More information : (TG 52720688) S E Tower (NR) (1) The South-East Tower is, about 30ft high, 21ft wide, and faced with square cut flints. Inserted into the projecting face are a number of arrow slits carved from rectangular blocks of Caen stone. It has been converted into several dwellings. (For a general history of the Medieval Town Wall, see TG 50 NW 2). (2-4) SE Tower, name confirmed is as described save that the upper section is constructed of geometric panels in brick and flint.
