HMS BOLINA

ALTERNATIVE NAME:  BOLINA

1807 event of the British brig BOLINA hired as a tender in Royal Navy service. Beached near Perranporth in a gale, while bound for Liverpool, she lost one crew member overboard. Initially thought to have been wrecked, but later got off- Recovered. Constructed of wood, she was a sailing vessel.
