CAMBRIDGE FRIARY OF PIED FRIARS

In 1273, a site was purchased for the Pied Friars by the Proctor of the Order of Blessed Mary. In 1279, there were apparently 20 friars in the town, and in 1290, they began building in the parish of All Saints near the castle. In 1319, there was one friar besides the prior.
