Probably 13th century, heightened in the late 15th or early 16th centuries; outshut to rear mid-18th century. Rubble, 2nd floor large squared blocks in irregular courses; stone slate roof. Interior: First-floor room, extending above Post Office, has 15th century fireplace with chamfered monolithic lintel carried on shaped corbels; lintel retains remains of painted black-letter inscription. |
