Summary : William de Albini gave land at Westwade to the Burton Lazars for a leper hospital in 1146. Dissolved in the 16th century.
More information : A small hospital or leper house of the Burton Lazars was built at the site of Westwade Chapel, half a mile east of Wymondham (TG 1101) for a master and two or three brethren some time before 1146. It was dissolved in the C16th. (1,2)
