Summary : Folly/summerhouse erected in 1817 to commemorate Waterloo. It is of white-washed and rendered sandstone rubble, and is suger loaf in shape with a ball finial atop. The entrance is now blocked but formerly provided access to a single room with stone benches and table.

White Nancy is a folly/summerhouse built in 1817 to commemorate Waterloo by John Gaskell Junior of North End Farm. Circular in plan it is of suger loaf shape with a ball finial at the apex, and is white-washed and rendered sandstone rubble. A now blocked entrance opened into a single room with stone benches around the edge and a circular stone table in the middle. Grade II. (2)
