Summary : A bowl barrow, one of a scattered group located in Drive Plantation immediately south of the Dorset Cursus (Linear 41). Listed by RCHME as Wimborne St Giles 67 and by RCHME as Wimborne St Giles 53, it was described by RCHME as a mound 70 feet in diameter and 3.5 feet high.
More information : A bowl barrow, one of a scattered group located in Drive Plantation immediately south of the Dorset Cursus (Linear 41). Listed by RCHME as Wimborne St Giles 67 and by RCHME as Wimborne St Giles 53, it was described by RCHME as a mound 70 feet in diameter and 3.5 feet high. NB this barrow was originally described as part of SU 01 NW 73. That record should be consulted for additional sources and information. (1-2)
