Summary : A bowl barrow, part of the Oakley Down barrow group (SU 01 NW 19). Listed by RCHME as Wimborne St Giles 94 and by Grinsell as Wimborne St Giles 23a, it was described by RCHME as a mound circa 30 feet in diameter, but levelled by ploughing. There is no record of any excavation. The most southwesterly of the group, the barrow is located immediately southeast of the modern road (A354). This barrow was formerly recorded as part of SU 01 NW 19. That record should be consulted for additional sources and information.
