Summary : Chancery Lane station, an intermediate station on the Central London Railway's line from Shepherd's Bush to the Bank. The station entrance originally opened on 30th July 1900 at 31-33 High Holborn, but a new sub-surface ticket hall was opened on the junction of High Holborn and Gray's Inn Road on 25th June 1934. During this time the station was rebuilt and renamed Chancery Lane (Grays Inn), however the suffix was gradually dropped.
