Summary :
Possible pottery kiln (site 17) part of the Donyatt Pottery Industry identified during field walking. The tithe map of 1838 shows a pond, possibly the site of a clay pit. Field walking identified a scatter of 17th-18th century pottery.
More information :
Pottery scatter identified during fieldwalking following the ploughing of a field sometime after 1945. Field investigations in 1960 failed to locate any finds. (1-3)
