Summary : A Roman centurial stone built into restored Hadrian's Wall.
More information : (NY 5638 6465) Roman building-stone found before 1894 close to Moneyholes and then built into the north face of the wall due north of Hare Hill farm-house. Inscribed ">PP". (1) The stone was not identified in the wall at Hare Hill, and its present whereabouts was not established. (2) Centurial stone found at NY 5641 6462 in restored section at Hadrian's Wall on the north face, 1.7m above present ground level. (3)
