Summary : Early 14th century and mid 15th century parish church, restored in 1849 and 1872. Plan of West tower, aisled nave, chancel South porch, and mausoleum. The church was granted to Notley Abbey by Walther Giffard, Earl of Buckingham, before his death in 1164, and an Augustinian cell was established. It appears to have been destitute in 1345, and the cell abandoned.
