TEMPLE TEMPLARS PRECEPTORY

Temple was a district, and apparently a preceptory or grange of the Knights Templar. Dissolved in 1308-12, but did not become a possession of the Knights Hospitallers as so many other Templar properties did [see also SX 36 NW 3].
