Summary : In 1995 a scatter of Roman pottery and building material was recorded over an area of 0.4 hectares, with a particular concentration over 600 square metres. The building material included brick and tile fragments, including at least one tegula, with mortar and stone. The discovery of this material indicates a high status Roman building. Listed by the Wroxeter Hinterland Project as the site of a Villa. See also SJ 50 NE 78. |
