Summary : L-shaped ranges of farm buildings north of Shotwick Hall, comprising a threshing barn and shippons built in the early 18th century, extended in the early 19th century with some 20th century alterations. They are of orange brick in English and English Garden bond and have corrugated asbestos and Welsh slate roofs. The north west range is a threshing barn, the south side of which has a central pair of large board doors with a smaller door to the left. Above this is a line of ventilation slots. The north east range is a shippon and hayloft. There are a mixture of inserted doors and openings with a line of four circular pitch holes and ventilation slots above. |
