Summary : Small country house, now a girl's school, built in 1815-20 with later additions and alterations, including late 20th century ranges to the east and south. Probably designed by Robert Abraham for the Bethell family. The main facades are of sandstone ashlar with pinkish-brown bricks to the rear and Welsh slate roofs. The building is approximately H-shaped in plan with ranges to the north and and east.
