More information : (NY 53001929) A roughly oval enclosure of about 1/2 acre. The surrounding rampart, which appears to be made of heaped stones, has a ditch outside only on the S and SE; on the W it was probably considered unnecessary as the scarp is steep. There is an entrance near the middle of the E side, the rampart being widened on the N side of the opening, while on the S side it turns slightly outwards. Where the rampart meets the natural scarp on the NW there is the suggestion of an entrance, but this is probably of later date. No signs of work are visible within the enclosure. (1)
A probable IA enclosure in poor condition. Resurveyed at 1:2500. (2)
