JACKBARROW

Site of a Neolithic chambered long barrow opened in 1874/5. Human remains removed from the barrow were interred in the churchyard. A farmbuilding was erected on the site and a stone cross erected nearby. The available aerial photographs which cover this area have been examined as part of the Cotswold Hills National Mapping Programme, and there was no visible sign of this site.
