Summary : Landscape park and gardens to Reigate Priory covering an area of 58 hectares. The park had been created by 1766 and had been increased in size by 1849. Further alterations took place between 1883-1905 and included the redesigning of the gardens by John Hungerford Pollen. In 1920 an area of the park was opened as a public park.
More information : Landscape park, formal gardens and pleasure ground to Reigate Priory. The grounds probably date from the 16th century and contain an avenue to the west which leads to Priory Pond, a former fishpond. Part of the park is backed by a woodland with open park to the south of the house. The pleasure grounds are wooded and present on the north and east boundaries. (1)
