Summary : Dam and millpond dated by organic deposits to around 1430. A leat which is now dry runs from the south western corner of the dam for 50m south west and then 100m west. The assosiated mill can not be traced. The dam is made of earth and is 52m long and 5m wide at the base, standing 4.5m high in the centre. A modern sluice has been inserted into the middle. The millpond was originally 5om wide, the current pool is 30m across. The pool was abandone circa 1750 and reinstated in 1977. Scheduled.
