Summary : Landscape park and gardens to Wythenshawe House. The park was developed during the 18th century and has additions of circa 1816. Mid 19th century development includes a garden of circa 1850 probably designed by John Shaw. In 1926 the grounds were opened as a public park. Thegardens have continued to be maintained and sporting facilities were added after 1934.
