Summary : Cropmarks of ring ditches (2) ? barrows
More information : SO 691921 Cropmarks showing three ring ditches and barrows, probably part of the barrow cemetery (see SO 69 SE 13, 16). (1-3) For one of these ring ditches see SO 69 SE 23. There are no surface indications of the other two ditches, which occur in an undulating cultivated field between the Liddle and More brooks. SO 69079217. No photograph of this is available. Plotted on 6" Field Sheet from NMR sketch plot (b) SO 69229214. A ring ditch approximately 10.0m in diameter. Sketch plotted on paper trace at 1/2500. ? Barrows. (4)
