Summary : A barn which formed part of the monastic grange complex laid out by the Abbess of Shaftesbury in the early 14th century. The barn was originally of cruciform shape, aligned broadly north-south and originally approximately 40 metres long and 8.5 metres wide. Part of this barn was incorporated in a new barn of 1769, itself now derelict and fire-damaged. Scheduled. |
