These features are not very distinct but what are taken to be the tumuli have been located and surveyed. Tumulus ('b') is small but well defined. Tumulus ('c') in the corner of a field under cultivation. Very vague and only partially defined. (2)

NY 49951955. The probable remains of a round cairn, consisting of a consolidated mound of stone, averaging 8.5m in diameter and 0.8m. in height. There is no trace of the second mound which falls in a pasture field. Surveyed at 1:2500. (4)
NY 49941953 Round cairn 490m ENE of Rough Hill Tarn. An irregularly-shaped mound of stones up to 0.4m high with maximum dimensions of 12m by 9m. There is a triangular-shaped earthfast boulder approximately 1m long incorporated in the cairn's southern side; scheduled. (5) |
