More information : Two ring ditches which may be round barrows of Prehistoric date were seen as cropmarks and transcribed at 1:2500 scale by RCHME Aerial Survey. Both features lie just to the west of the causewayed enclosure (TF 10 NW 51). One lies at TF 1364 0738 defined by a broad ditch, 17 m in diameter. The second, only faintly visible, at TF 1373 0730 may be 30 m in diameter. These features were identified on one photograph only, and are now destroyed by gravel extraction. (1) |
