Summary : Coins were minted at Milborne Port in the reigns of Ethelred II and Cnut.
More information : ST676185. Saxon mint sited generally to Milborne Port. The mint at Milborne struck coins from 997-1002, but the threat of Danish attacks forced the mint to move to South Cadbury. Coining resumed in 1023 but ceased after the death of Cnut. (1)
