More information : The following features of unknown date were seen as cropmarks and mapped from good quality air photographs prior to partial destruction by gravel extraction.
The site consists of a complex series of possible field boundaries and other ditches at SP 4101 0454, some of which clearly relate to one another, whilst others equally clearly cut one another. There has been activity on the site for a considerable period of time, since it is overlain by, or overlies, Bronze Age barrow cemetery described in record SP40SW 135. Furthermore, the longest single ditch appears to terminate on the ditch of the Neolithic henge described in record SP40SW 3.
A couple of ditches form a possible trackway, 60m long at SP 4101 0447, and there is a single small pit at SP 4105 0452. (Morph No.s TG.129.2, TG.129.3, TG.129.4, TG.129.5, TG.129.6, TG.129.7, TG.129.8 and TG.129.9)
